Grandma and Grandpa were here, and we drove down to Anaheim to spend Spring Break in Disneyland. My brother Raja was also going to come up from San Diego for part of the time. What was supposed to be the happiest reunion for us turned out less than that when my mother fell at the hotel and broke three ribs. She was never really able to enjoy the park, and was in a lot of pain. We still took the kids and managed to take a ton of pictures, but it wasn't what we had planned.
She is recovering, and is back in Brazil and going to work now. The recovery is supposed to be slow. No skateboarding or surfing for Grandma now!
