In 1999, we had a birthday party in Brazil and one here. I didn't know very many people at my birthday party in Brazil, but I did make a few friends while there. My mom invited a bunch of people, and my grandparents invited a bunch of other ones. When I asked my grandpa why he invited so many people, he said he wanted to show me off. Well, I guess that's a good reason!
I was Luke Skywalker for my 6th year birthday party. The theme was Star Wars. We had a lot of fun with this theme.

The highlight and big surprise of the party was when my dad showed up dressed up as Darth Vader. He was supposed to pretend he was a bad guy but I figured out right away that it was him. He kept trying to be serious and telling me things like he was going to steal all my presents and take them back to the Death Star but I couldn't take him seriously and I just kept telling everyone proudly "It's my daddy!!!" My mom couldn't stop laughing. I did enjoy the play fighting -- I'll never forget this birthday party. |
