This year's birthday party was a princess party. I know most who know me will be surprised that I selected such a theme. I didn't. Bela insisted for months before I agreed. And I made her promise me that she'd never make me do a pink party of any sort again. Once I agreed, it was a lot of fun. I extended it to all kinds of royal and medieval ideas. There were so many possibilities. Look through the pictures, and you'll see how silly I got. And, most importantly, Bela loved everything, and was so excited and helpful in the preparations. We spent a lot of bonding time making wands for all the girls, and shields for the boys, decorating the cookies and coming up with ideas.
I'll try to add some text to each of the pictures, so as you thumb through you'll experience as much of the party as you can through cyberspace.
